MaxLite Receives Darn Good Products Award by Maintenance Solutions Magazine

West Caldwell, New Jersey – MaxLite®, a global manufacturer and marketer of energy efficient lighting, announces that its LED BayMAX High/Low Bay Retrofit Lamp has received a 2013 “Darn Good Products Award” from Maintenance Solutions magazine. The award was based on an editorial product spotlight in the January issue of the magazine that described the many features and benefits of the energy efficient light source. MaxLite’s compact and lightweight LED BayMAX High/Low Bay Retrofit Lamp is showcased in a special awards section in the July issue of the magazine, which can be viewed here.

“We are proud that our LED BayMAX High/Low Bay Retrofit Lamp was voted as a “Darn Good Product” by leading facility engineering and maintenance professionals,” said MaxLite Executive Vice President Thomas Rhee. “The magazine provides testimony that our lamp is designed for quicker conversions to LED technology in existing mogul-base HID and incandescent lighting fixtures while using proprietary binned LED chips for uniform color consistency.”

The LED lamp is ideal for low bay and high bay applications in religious houses, gymnasiums, auditoriums, automobile showrooms, refrigerated storage spaces and other areas where changing lamps is difficult or disruptive to operations.

The 43-watt LED lamp, which replaces a 100-watt HID light source, is designed with an oscillating diaphragm that accelerates the transfer of heat away from the LEDs. Constructed with polycarbonate optics and a die-cast magnesium alloy heat sink that enables cool operation, the LED lamp delivers a high lumen output and a crisp, white 5000K correlated color temperature (CCT) light with an 80-degree beam spread.
