Kansas City, Mo. — Milbank is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Vigilant Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) product line from DynaGen Technologies, Inc. The acquisition includes all assets associated with the Vigilant line, ranging from 100 amp to 1250 amp transfer switches.
DynaGen, a Canadian-based original equipment manufacturer (OEM), specializes in the design and development of power control devices. The Vigilant ATS automatically transfers critical loads in the event of a power outage. Its simple, rugged, contractor-friendly design is suited for residential, agricultural and light industrial applications. The sale of its Vigilant ATS product line will allow DynaGen to focus its resources on its control solutions.
“We continuously look for ways to maximize our manufacturing capabilities and implement lean principles, and the purchase of the Vigilant product line allows us to do just that,” said Chris Buelow, general manager of Milbank’s PowerGen division. “We look forward to the opportunities ahead with the expansion of our product offering.”
This acquisition marks another valuable addition to Milbank’s ever-growing power management product portfolio. The line will be available to Milbank’s distribution partners as well as to DynaGen’s existing customers and channels, which include contractors, installers and service centers. The Vigilant line, which will be manufactured in Milbank’s Concordia plant, will be available mid-January 2014.
