NAED Announces New Product Cross Reference Service

ST. LOUIS — The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) announces Cross Check, a new product cross-reference service from DATAgility and powered by EnterWorks.

Manufacturers offer multiple resources for obtaining cross-reference information from catalogs to search functions on their websites. Unfortunately, looking in all of these different places is time consuming. Distributors must provide answers and offer suggestions to help their customers in real time.

“Electrical distributors need an efficient way to populate their business systems and e-commerce platforms with cross reference information,” said Tom Naber, NAED President and CEO. “Cross Check gives distributors the capability to enhance their relationships with their customers by providing suggested product alternatives in a timely manner.”

Cross Check is a subscription-based service that gives distributors access to electrical products typically ordered by catalog number. The cross reference data will be available to distributors in their ERP or E-commerce system for instant access.
