The NAED National Meeting kicks off at Chicago’s Hyatt Regency Hotel on Saturday, May 19 with the association’s Manufacturer’s Council hosting a town hall meeting at 2:45pm.
The council will focus the town hall meeting on two of the industry’s biggest disruptors: employee recruitment and retention and how to compete in e-commerce.
Everyone is paying for “plug and play” talent to bridge the gap involved with developing a company workforce. Panelists at the town hall meeting will discuss why you are losing key members of your team and where you should spend your money.
As part of the conversation, the council is inviting you to take this brief survey to help guide the town hall meeting. The survey focuses on the factors and benefits that seem to have the most impact when hiring and retaining talent. Recruitment and professional development will be top issues discussed at the town hall meeting, but the panelists would like your feedback from the survey to help guide the conversation. It only takes about 5 minutes to take the survey, and the results will remain anonymous.
You can take the survey by clicking here.
The NAED Manufacturer’s Council will also discuss Amazon and e-commerce during the town hall event. Panelists will center around how distributors and manufacturers can work together to produce better e-content that meets the needs of our end users.
You are encouraged to attend the town hall meeting and bring ideas and questions for the entire room to discuss. All attendees at the NAED National meeting are invited to the town hall meeting.
You can go to the NAED website to see the National Meeting schedule and to register for the event.
