NAED Offers Tax Plan Webinar

NAED Offers Tax Plan Webinar

Our tax laws have changed dramatically this year, and before you grow more confused, the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) wants to help you sort out one of the issues. The recently passed Tax Cuts & Jobs Act made significant changes to how pass-through entities are taxed by enacting a new 20% deduction for qualifying business income. Last month the Treasury Department released guidance on how businesses may use the deduction to lower their tax burden and what restrictions businesses will face to qualify for the deduction.

On Tuesday, October 2, NAED will host a webinar: “Everything Business Owners Need To Know About The New Sec. 199A Business Income Deduction.”  The webinar begins at 11 a.m. Eastern time, 10 a.m. Central.

During the webinar, Brian Reardon, President of the S-Corp Association, and Ryan Ellis, Policy Advisor with the Family Business Coalition will explain everything you need to know about the new 20% deduction for qualifying pass-through businesses and how you can benefit from it. Reardon and Ellis will also discuss what you need to know to get ahead of the changes in the tax law, and potential restrictions you could face. The webinar will be facilitated by NAED Vice-President Ed Orlet and NAED General Counsel Ian Reynolds.

You can register for the webinar by clicking here. Even if you cannot attend on October 2nd, registering will allow you to receive a link to an archived version, so you can watch and learn at your convenience.
