NAED, tED Magazine Contest Deadlines Approaching

As March comes to a close, both NAED and tED magazine will be closing the window for submissions to three contests: the NAED Trailblazer Award, the tED magazine “Best of the Best” marketing awards, and the tED magazine “30 Under 35” awards.

NAED’s Trailblazer award is given to a woman who has had an exceptional career in distribution and has had a positive impact on supporting women in the electrical distribution industry. The award is based on cumulative contributions and will be given at the discretion of the NAED Awards Committee and members of the Women In Industry committee. The Trailblazer Award winner will be featured in a June digital-only issue of tED magazine, and will be recognized at the NAED Women In Industry Conference, which is scheduled for later in 2021. Past winners include Molly Murphy of Eaton, Kathy Mazzarella of Graybar, and Tammy Livers of Sonepar USA. You can nominate someone at www.tedmag.com/Trailblazer, but nominations will be closed on Friday, April 2, and we will be unable to accept nominations after that date.

The tED magazine “Best of the Best” awards is still accepting nominations for the 2020 marketing efforts until March 31. The award winners will be recognized in the digital-only issue of tED magazine in August, and winners will once again be asked to create and send an acceptance speech to tED magazine to be published at www.tedmag.com. Award winners will be notified by the end of May. You can enter at www.tedmag.com/best.

And the 10th annual tED magazine “30 Under 35” awards is still taking nominations until April 2. Each year we send out a call in search of the industry’s young “rising stars”, the electrical professionals 34 years old or younger who have the initiative, drive, integrity, and creativity to move the industry forward in the decades to come. Nominations come from mentors, managers, and other leaders working in electrical distribution, manufacturing, and related technology and service organizations. Since the program’s start in 2011, hundreds of the industry’s best and brightest have been named a “30 Under 35” honoree. You can nominate your rising star in the electrical industry for free at www.tedmag.com/30under35. Winners will be notified this summer, and tED magazine will feature them in a July issue of the digital-only magazine.
