NAED’s Manufacturers Council Looking For New Members

Publisher’s Note:

I am fortunate to be able to sit in on nearly every NAED Manufacturer’s Council meeting for the past 4 years. In the past, it has worked with NAED and created a panel session at the NAED National Meetings. Now it is moving in a direction with a goal to improve the supplier/distributor relationship through a series of efforts, including scorecarding, recruitment and retention of the next generation of the supply chain, and working with NAED to improve the key issues we are all facing.

The NAED Manufacturer’s Council wants to keep all NAED members up to date on what it is working on, and incoming Council Chair Tom Fredericks of American Polywater wrote the following letter to manufacturers about becoming a part of next year’s Council. tED magazine will also work with the Council to keep you updated on upcoming meeting agendas and Council projects. — Scott Costa, Publisher, tED magazine

NAED Manufacturer Members,

Would you like to be part of a dynamic group that is responsible for creating change in the electrical industry? Are you excited about working with manufacturers and distributors striving to achieve the same goals? If you are, then the NAED manufacturer’s council is where the action starts.

Our group is new and improved. We are working directly with NAED’s regional and national distributor councils and NAED’s staff to make a difference. We are looking for people who want to be an active participant on our council. If you’re interested, please contact Tom Fredericks American Polywater’s VP/GM and co-chair of the NAED Manufacturer’s council at freddy@polywater.com.

Sincerely,

Tom Fredericks
VP/GM Electrical Division
Incoming NAED Manufacturer’s Council Chair
