NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick recently spoke to a group of nearly 150 Greenlee and Sherman + Reilly customers at an invitation only special luncheon held during the ICUEE Expo in Louisville, KY.

Harvick, a 19-time NASCAR Sprint Cup race winner and driver of the No. 29 racecar, spoke about his NASCAR experiences before answering questions from the audience. He remained after the speech for pictures with customers and distributors attending the event.

During his speech, Harvick told the audience that his job has many similarities to the goals of Greenlee and Sherman + Reilly customers, that teamwork is critical if you want to get ahead in the race. He noted that without an experienced Crew Chief and Pit Crew he would not have been able to achieve his goals on the NASCAR circuit. Harvick concluded his speech by adding that, just like the manufacturer-customer relationship, he and his team work together “to get the job done right.”

Harvick’s speech was well received by the audience, with many attendees noting that that support from departments across Greenlee and Sherman + Reilly helps them to be successful.

“It was great to hear Kevin speak about the importance of teamwork,” said Doug Eichner, Vice President and General Manager for Greenlee Electrical Division. “I think our customers came away with a sense of knowing that Greenlee and Sherman + Reilly fully support everything they do and with our help, they can achieve great things.”

All audience members were automatically registered for a chance to win a Bad Boy Buggy Ambush® iS a 4X4 hybrid off-road vehicle with dual gasoline and electric drive-trains. The winner will be announced at a later date.
