WASHINGTON, D.C. — NECA announced a leadership transition at ELECTRI International. Josh Bone, who has served as Executive Director of ELECTRI, will leave the organization to become Chief Strategy Officer of Evergreen Holdings Corporation. Jessica Cardenas, currently ELECTRI’s Deputy Executive Director, will step into the Executive Director role. Bone will remain with ELECTRI through the NECA 2026 Las Vegas Convention & Trade Show.
During his tenure leading ELECTRI, Bone helped strengthen the organization’s role as the electrical construction industry’s premier research organization, expanding its focus on emerging technologies, workforce development, productivity, leadership and the evolving business needs of electrical contractors. He also worked to deepen the connection between ELECTRI and NECA, helping translate research and innovation into practical resources and opportunities for contractors across the country.
“Josh has brought tremendous energy, creativity and vision to ELECTRI and to NECA,” said David Long, CEO of NECA. “He has consistently pushed us to think differently about where our industry is headed and how we can better prepare our contractors for what comes next. Just as importantly, Josh cares deeply about this industry and the people in it. Bone’s move to Evergreen Holdings Corporation represents the next chapter in a career focused on innovation, strategy and advancing the construction industry.

Cardenas has served as ELECTRI’s Deputy Executive Director, where she has been a driving force behind the organization’s research initiatives, contractor engagement and day-to-day operations, working closely with Bone to advance ELECTRI’s mission and deepen its impact across the industry.
