One World Trade Center: A Sense of Pride

Culloden, WV – Rising to a height of 1,776 feet, the recently built One World Trade Center in Manhattan symbolizes the resilience and strength not only of a city, but of a country. Its architecture is modern and contemporary, much like the city over which it casts its shadow. Yet the tower’s rebirth is a tall reminder of the hard work and tenacity on which this nation was built.

Service Wire Company is proud to be the primary manufacturer of wire and cable that powers One World Trade Center’s 2.6 million square feet of space, enough wire to stretch from Manhattan to Stamford, Connecticut.

“We are proud to have played a role in the rebirth of such a symbolic part of the New York skyline,” said Tony Holderby, Service Wire’s senior account manager on the job. “All of our products and materials are manufactured right here in the United States, which adds to the significance of this accomplishment.”

Service Wire, founded in 1968, has strategically located manufacturing facilities and factory warehouses that serve major metropolitan areas with same and next-day service.  The company is celebrating 45 years of success, continued growth and dedication to manufacturing high quality goods and delivering superior service to the electrical distribution markets.

This same commitment contributed to the construction of the tallest building in New York, and helped a city to rebuild.
