Patriot Aluminum Sponsors MiniUSA Racer

LOUISA, VIRGINIA – September 2, 2016 — Patriot Aluminum Products, LLC, a leading producer of Rigid Aluminum & Stainless Steel Conduit, Nipples, Elbows, and Couplings, sponsored MiniUSA Racer Tyler Stone of Stone & Sons Electrical Contractors.

“I think we’re the first conduit products company to sponsor this type of event,” said Isabelle Puryear, Inside Sales Coordinator for Patriot, “but that’s the Patriot way, we like to set the pace.”

“Yeah, it’s really just a trait of Patriot’s unique method of continual innovation,” continued George Tomaras, Outreach Coordinator for Patriot. Glenn Diersen, Regional Sales Director for Patriot says, “Tom had developed a solid friendship with the driver Tyler Stone, and we’ve had excellent relationships with Mayer Electric Supply and our Agent George Pickett and Associates for years. This type of event was bound to occur at some point.”

“It was an amazing sight,” said Tom Click, President & CEO of Patriot, “to see our logo on a professional race car has been a dream of mine for a long time. Every lap, Patriot! Every lap, Made in America Plus! Every lap. Politics aside, everyone wants to be a Patriot. This sponsorship was a great opportunity to reach our core group of Electrical Distributors & Contractors and provide a reminder that you have a choice, and that Made in America still matters.”

“From our founding, Patriot has had a commitment to hiring US Military Veterans and this event helped connect us with another organization with a similar mission,” said Click. “Christopher Plamp, Chief Programs Officer for Hire Heroes USA, works to ensure that our returning Veterans have the resources they need to enter the civilian workforce. Approximately half of our staff are Veterans, I can definitely see us working together in the future.”

“Overall, the event was a huge success,” continued Click. “It was a terrific teambuilding opportunity for Patriot and Mayer Electric Supply and Stone & Sons and George Pickett & Associates. We hope to participate in more of these types of events in years to come and continue to shed some light on the benefits of American Manufacturing and the benefits of Hiring US Military Veterans.”

Tyler Stone, Vice President of Stone & Sons Electrical and Driver of MINI Cooper #52 commented, “I am very appreciative of Patriot Aluminum for their partnership with LAP Motorsports and Mini USA, making the Oak Tree Grand Prix at VIR a success.” “We have been blessed with opportunities to use Patriot Aluminum Product on some of our projects. Their delivery has been on-time and quality never sacrificed on every order. You can truly tell their products are made with American pride.”

The Full Race, Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, aired on FoxSports-1 on Sunday September 4th, 2016. The race in it’s entirety may be viewed online at imsatv.imsa.com. At timestamp 2h:16m you can see the Patriot Aluminum MINI demonstrate some off road capabilities.
