Remke Industries has named Mark Sweeney the company’s president and chief operating officer as of Jan. 1, 2013.
In his new role, Sweeney will be responsible for all revenue and operations and will continue to direct the sales and marketing teams as well as the Flexible Solutions Center. “Mark’s elevation to president/COO is very timely and important to our future” said Tom O’Gara, Remke CEO. “In order to meet the goals and objectives we have for Remke, our strategy requires that we align ourselves to manage not only today but for tomorrow as well…Based on Mark’s experience and ability, our Board of Directors has endorsed him to lead Remke into the future as president and COO.”
Sweeney joined Remke in 1988 as national sales manager and was promoted to vice president in 1992.
For 50 years, Remke Industries has been manufacturing one of the largest and most diverse lines of electrical connectors.
