Remke Industries is pleased to announce that as of January 2013 Tom O’Gara assumed the position of chief executive officer.
As CEO, O’Gara will be responsible for the strategic initiatives of the company and he will continue to direct the finance, IT and human resources functions.
O’Gara had been president of Remke since 1985 and joined the company as sales manager in 1978 when he was hired by the company’s found John Remke.
“Tom’s leadership will be vital as we continue to transform Remke from what was primarily a products manufacturer to a customer-driven organization. His focus on making the business better for over 30 years will continue to be a guiding force for me, the management team and employees at Remke,” said Mark Sweeney, Remke’s president and COO.
For 50 years, Remke Industries has been manufacturing one of the largest and most diverse lines of electrical connectors.
