Southampton, NY – In recognition of National Fire Prevention Week, October 6-12, 2013, REVCO Lighting + Electrical Supply will donate $1 to local fire departments for every smoke detector sold during the month of October.
Benefiting fire departments will be: Southampton, East Hampton, Riverhead and Southold.
“REVCO is proud to do its part to support our local fire departments and endorse fire safety in our own communities,” REVCO Vice President Michael Velys Sr. said.
In a typical month, the company sells approximately 1,200 smoke detectors.
A full assortment of fire safety products, including smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers, are always available at all four REVCO branches. Manufacturers carried include Kidde and BRK.
