Rexel USA Welcomes New Chief Strategy Officer

Wes Smith

Wes Smith, Rexel USA’s prior Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, has transitioned to a new role as Senior Advisor to the Rexel USA CEO as he prepares to retire in June of 2024. In this role, Smith will continue to have a significant impact on Rexel USA’s business as he will maintain a key role in Strategy and M&A efforts as well as industry leadership, which includes him fulfilling his five-year commitment to the NAED.

Smith shared, “I have greatly enjoyed my career in this industry and have found the transition to Rexel to be exceptional. Rexel USA is an excellent company, and I am looking forward to continuing my work in an advisory capacity as I prepare for my next life chapter. Thank you to all of those I have worked with along the way; I have been lucky to work with some of the best in the business.”

Jordan Lomheim

Jordan Lomheim will be succeeding Smith as Rexel USA’s newest Senior Vice Present and Chief Strategy Officer. He will be focused on leading the company’s corporate strategy and growth initiatives, including leading its M&A efforts.

Lomheim most recently served as a Director of Corporate Strategy and M&A at Celanese Corporation where he was an M&A leader, created business intelligence and analytical capabilities, and developed business strategies. Prior to that role, Lomheim held corporate strategy positions at Kimberly Clark and JCPenney.

Lomheim said, “I am absolutely thrilled to step into this role for Rexel USA as we embark on an exciting path to capture the exponential growth of electrification in the U.S. I am especially excited that our strategy will deliver tangible value for our shareholders, our exceptional team, and above all, our valued customers.”
