Roy Haley Joins Solis Energy As New Board Member

ORLANDO, Fla – Solis Energy, Inc., a global provider of outdoor power systems, announces the appointment of Roy Haley to the company’s board of directors. With a history of public company leadership and significant operating experience, Haley will provide highly informed guidance and counsel regarding the operations and value of this wholesale supplier.

Haley served as CEO of WESCO International, Inc. (NYSE) from 1994 to 2009 and as Chairman from 1998 to 2011. Prior to joining WESCO, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of American General Corporation, which, in the early 1990’s, was one of the nation’s largest consumer financial services organizations. Haley began his professional career in 1969 with the management consulting division of Arthur Anderson & Co.

Haley is currently a member of the Board of Directors of United Stationers Corporation (NASDAQ) and the Board of Trustees of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Haley received a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
