Schneider Electric Appoints EVP of Home and Distribution Business

RUEIL-MALMAISON, France — Schneider Electric has appointed YiFu Qi as the new Executive Vice-President of its global Home and Distribution Division, effective July 1st, 2021. YiFu is charged with continuing to build Schneider’s position as a leading player in the smart home and sustainable tech arena.

YiFu takes over from Manish Pant, who was appointed as Zone President for East Asia & Japan, on July 1st, 2021.

Having served as Schneider Electric’s Executive Vice-President, Value Brands, since 2017 and President of Delixi Electric since 2012, YiFu brings a new perspective, speed and agility, as well as over 20 years of experience, expertise and passion to the Home & Distribution Division.Qi is a seasoned executive with experience in Business Development, Electrical Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Energy.

Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Philippe Delorme, Executive Vice-President, Energy Management at Schneider Electric. YiFu will be responsible for enabling Schneider Electric’s customers and partners to benefit from next-generation sustainable, resilient, and people-centric Home of the Future technologies. He brings a combination of business, manufacturing, and engineering acumen to the role, as well as a deep understanding of Mainland China and international market dynamics. YiFu is committed to continuing close collaboration with Schneider’s strategic partners, advocating for more widespread adoption of net zero home technologies.

YiFu joined Schneider Electric in 2000 in the transport and supply chain team, subsequently leading energy and manufacturing divisions across China and in France. He holds a MBA from the Southwest Jiatong University, an Executive MBA from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Transportation Engineering from the Beijing Jiaotong University.
