Teche Electric Focuses on Growth

LAFAYETTE, La. — Teche Electric Supply, serving the gulf coast in southern Louisiana, has recently rebranded itself, launched a new website, and has expanded its staff with salespeople and new leaders.

The rebranding includes a new logo and signage, as well as a digital presence. A new website was launched in the last quarter of 2018. Social media is also leading the rebranding of Teche Electric, with Facebook being a great avenue for getting the word out about Teche and a means of advertising. The biggest ongoing change right now is the implementation of a new e-commerce system as Teche Electric is set to go live in the fourth quarter this year with Prophet 21. This will make Teche much more efficient as a company and offer faster turnaround for its customers. With the addition of Prophet 21, Teche will be able to launch an online shopping cart to improve customer experience.

In business since April of 1962, Teche Electric Supply has served the gulf coast in southern Louisiana with electrical supplies. With the recent additions of several new salespeople and a change in leadership with Dave Frazer as President/CEO along with Lisa McNeely as Vice President of Operations, Teche continues to position itself to be successful for many more years to come!

Teche Electric is experiencing steady growth in the southern Louisiana market that has seen difficult times in recent years. A local economy that is influenced heavily by oilfield production has seen huge declines in recent years, but Teche has weathered the storm and is poised for growth in a tough economy.
