The NAED Trailblazer Award is given to a woman who has had an exceptional career as a manufacturer or distributor and has had a positive impact on supporting women in the electrical distribution industry. The award is based on cumulative contributions and will be given at the discretion of the NAED Awards Committee and members of the Women In Industry committee. Past winners include Cora Williams, Joyce Blassingame, Nancy Geodecke, Tammy Miller, Kathy Mazzarella, Tammy Livers, Kathy Jo Van, and Liz O’Grady. The honoree will receive her award at the NAED Women In Industry Forum in 2023. You can learn more about the NAED Trailblazer Award at www.tedmag.com/trailblazer.
The highly competitive tED magazine Best of the Best Marketing Awards competition has celebrated the highest quality marketing efforts from both electrical distributors and electrical product suppliers and manufacturers. Throughout the industry, the coveted crystal star award is a symbol of excellence and achievement. In addition to the category awards, Overall Best of the Best awards are given to the top distributor and top supplier. Each year, judges will select winners in 11 categories, including Video, Website, Event, Brand Awareness, Digital/Social Media Campaign, and Advertisement. The final day to get the $150 entry fee is March 4, but you can still submit entries for $200 each until March 31. For the 12th year, tED magazine will recognize 30 of the best and brightest people in our supply chain with the annual 30 Under 35 Awards. The award recognizes electrical professionals 34 years old or younger who have the initiative, drive, integrity, and creativity to move the industry forward in the decades to come. Nominations come from mentors, managers, and other leaders working in electrical distribution, manufacturing, and related technology and service organizations. Since the program’s start in 2011, 330 of the industry’s best and brightest have been named a “30 Under 35” honoree. Winners will be recognized at the 2023 NAED LEAD Conference, which is scheduled for October 3-5, 2023 in Denver, Colorado.
