Topaz Honors Two Leading Women in the Lighting and Electric Industry

Holtsville, N.Y. – Topaz, as part of our corporate support of the 2013 U.S. Women’s Open, held at Sebonack Golf Club, June 24-30, 2013 is honoring two leading women in the electrical supply and distribution industry.

The two honorees are Kay Sosebee from Sequel Electrical Supply in Meridian, Mississippi and Lenore Schwartz from Total Electric located in Staten Island, New York. Both women are leaders in their companies and industry for over three decades, building their businesses in a very male dominated industry – Construction. The honorees are not just leaders in their industry they serve their communities as well.

The women were recognized this past May at the Annual Lightfair Trade Event in Philadelphia, PA and will be attending the USGA sanctioned 2013 U.S. Woman’s Open to be honored.

Lenore Schwartz,
Total Electric

Lenore Schwartz took over her family business, established 1922, from her father in the mid 90’s and has helped grow the business to be a leading distributor in NY Metro region.

Kay Sosebee,
Sequel Electrical Supply

Kay Sosebee began her career as a VP of vendor relations and today manages the company, which continues to grow rapidly due to her leadership.
