CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Van Meter Inc. announced that Andrew Selchert will serve as branch manager at its new location in Kansas City, Kansas. Located at 1403 Fairfax Trafficway, Suite 200, the 113,000 square-foot, full-line electrical distribution center is set to open for business in the next few weeks.
Selchert will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Van Meter’s Kansas City branch, as well as leading the team of employee-owners serving the Kansas City market. Selchert’s leadership experience includes time in the military (USAF) as well as the electrical distribution industry, having held roles in operations, sales, and consulting.
“We have every confidence Andy’s leadership skills, along with his familiarity with the market and his knowledge of electrical distribution, will position us as a leading resource and partner among local, regional and national contractors,” stated Brian Bytnar, Chief Business Development Officer for Van Meter.
