Vista Founder And Family Donate Holiday Lights to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. — Holiday lights twinkle and ornaments adorn homes and businesses inside and out this time of year. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is no different. For the ninth year, Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting founder Dan Cuñado and his wife Martha donated lighting and decorations to the hospital for patients and their families to admire.

“This annual event is very meaningful to our family,” says Cuñado. “It’s an opportunity to give back to an amazing organization where everyone is committed to the well-being of children. We’re honored to be a part of that.”

The Cuñado family flipped the switch on the holiday lights at the CHLA holiday tree lighting ceremony December 3. Broadway stars, Hollywood celebrities and Santa Claus himself were there to countdown to the lighting of a 35-foot holiday tree. Blitzen, a miniature pony, and falling snowflakes also helped make the night magical for all of the children and guests.

CHLA’s holiday light event was created in 2005 after the Cuñado’s son experienced a health scare requiring medical attention at the children’s hospital. “We received such phenomenal care and support when our son was in the hospital. The lights and decorations are our way of recognizing Children’s Hospital LA for the positive impact it has on patients’ lives,” Cuñado explains.
