TINTON FALLS, N.J. — Warshauer Electric Supply, a New Jersey-based electrical wholesaler, is excited to announce that the Student Farm at Rutgers University Gardens was nominated by Jim Warshauer, President of Warshauer Electric, to receive an impact grant from RAB Lighting Inc. to help fund a designated project.
As a result of Warshauer’s nomination, the Student Farm at Rutgers University Gardens was awarded a $10,000 impact grant from RAB Lighting Inc., as well as being approved for an RAB sponsorship. The RAB sponsorship provides RAB employee volunteers for on-site volunteering, skills-based volunteering, or grant-related volunteering. Scott Buckley, Director of Marketing of RAB Lighting, Inc., is “…proud to support the educational programs and social outreach associated with the Student Farm at Rutgers Gardens.”
Jim Warshauer stated, “Due to my wife, Mary, being the National Garden Club’s First Vice President, it was a natural for me to pair up with an industry-leading manufacturer to donate to the Student Farm at Rutgers University.” Jim and Mary generously matched RAB Lighting Inc.’s $10,000 grant, resulting in Rutgers Gardens receiving a $20,000 donation to spend on their project. Warshauer was “thrilled that RAB Lighting Inc. chose such an important program that not only has an impact on the environment, but also on the students. I was more than happy to match RAB Lighting Inc.’s impact grant.” Jim Warshauer is happy to support and serve the community, as well as taking great pride in corporate social responsibility.
