Chairman of Eck Supply Company dies

Edgar “Ed” Clarence Eck, Jr. died on Feb. 2 at the age of 70. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Eck joined Southeastern Electric Supply Company—his family’s business which later became Eck Supply Company, headquartered in Richmond, Va. He was chairman of Eck Supply Company at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, four children, three siblings and eight grandchildren. A memorial service was held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ed’s name to The Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis, 10866 W. Washington Blvd, #343, Culver City, Calif. 90232.
