Circuit Breaker Sales Names Field Service Manager in Florida

Fred Dotson

GAINESVILLE, Texas — Circuit Breaker Sales, Inc. (CBS) is pleased to introduce Fred Dotson as its new field service manager based in Lakeland, Florida.

In his new role, Dotson will manage CBS’s rapidly growing Lakeland service team, which serves customers throughout Florida and the islands, as well as the southern counties of Alabama and Georgia. In addition to supporting sales, he will be primarily responsible for maintaining the company’s high standard for repair, remanufacture, and reconditioning of electrical circuit breakers, switchgear, protective relays, power transformers, and other equipment.

“Accelerating growth in the Southeast’s manufacturing and power infrastructure is driving new demand and opportunities for CBS’ services,” Dotson says. “I look forward to working with the Lakeland team to ensure that current customers receive the consistently excellent service they’ve come to expect and to capitalize on new opportunities to expand our business and capabilities.”

Dotson brings with him nearly three decades of management experience in electrical repair, maintenance, and service. He began his career as an E&I superintendent and project engineer for Graphic Packaging International before accepting employment as a branch manager for Allied Reliability. Most recently, he managed the technical field service department at Tampa Armature Works, Inc. for 13 years.

“Fred brings the right mix of technical expertise, team leadership skills, and dedication to customer service just as Group CBS is expanding its resources to meet the fast-growing demand for our services in the Florida region,” says Tim Brewer, president of Circuit Breaker Sales. “Backed by the company’s unmatched equipment inventory and the engineering and service capabilities of our affiliates, we are confident Fred and the Lakeland team will become the dependable partner that electrical customers in the Southeast deserve.”
