Emerson Promotes Heather Green to Director of Product Marketing

ROSEMONT, Ill.—Heather Green has been promoted to Director of Product Marketing for Appleton Group, a division of Emerson (NYSE: EMR). In this key role, Green will work with product management, engineering team and global sales for the division’s brands Appleton®, O-Z/Gedney and others to achieve success across multiple industries. She will report directly to Tim Graff, Vice President of Engineering, Appleton Group, within the engineering organization.

As leader of the product management team, Green will guide Voice of Customer research, identify customer value propositions, define platform strategy, establish product requirements, and improve supporting overall business processes.

Green began her career with Emerson in 2007 as part of the Corporate Supply Chain Organization, before joining Appleton Group in 2012 as Manager of Business Development. Among her many accomplishments in that role, she led the Global Project Pursuit program and helped develop the Appleton strategic planning process. She was also instrumental in developing Appleton Group’s Growth & Enabling™ process, growth program prioritization and the portfolio review process. In addition, Green led a number of growth programs including Canadian fulfillment and the conversion of Anixter® in Canada.

Green earned an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh; Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University.
