Founder of Gordon Electric Supply dies

Howard Gordon died Jan. 27 at the age of 90. He was a WWII Navy veteran and the founder of Gordon Electric Supply in Kankakee, Ill.

Gordon was president of the company from 1953-1992. He also served on the National Association of Electrical Distributors’ Board of Governors in the 1970s and was active in many industry and community organizations.

Gordon is survived by his wife Vivian, his daughter Cara who is currently the president of Gordon Electric, his son James and five grandchildren.
