IEWC Promotes Joe Crum to Chief Technology Officer

Joe Crum

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – IEWC is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Crum as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for its global operations. The creation of the CTO role will ensure the company has strong leadership and focus on achieving IEWC’s vision of becoming our customers’ and suppliers’ most entrusted partner through deploying leading technologies.

“For IEWC, we will create our future success by simplifying and accelerating how our customers and suppliers do business with us,” said Mike Veum, IEWC President & CEO. “Technology, along with our people, simply must be at the heart of that.”

Having joined the company six years ago as Director of Marketing, Crum has served as IEWC’s Chief Information Officer since March 2015, and in August 2016 assumed the dual role of Chief Marketing Officer as well. This alignment of IT and Marketing proved invaluable in IEWC’s strategic efforts to create a digital transformation, including the creation of a new eCommerce-enabled website, IEWC.com. During that time, Crum has provided outstanding leadership to the Marketing and IT teams and beyond, acting as a true change agent in several other company-wide initiatives.

“I am excited to have Joe at the helm of our technology strategy moving forward,” added Veum. “In this role, we can leverage Joe’s knowledge of our systems and business to define, develop, and deploy customer- and supplier-facing technology solutions that will set IEWC apart in our industry.”
