Intermatic Appoints Four New Zone Managers

SPRING GROVE, Ill. – Intermatic Incorporated announced the hiring of four new zone managers: Matt Fowler, Andy Mellen, Howard Grobstein and Barrie Pilgrim.

“We have expanded our field sales team to provide a new level of service to the market,” said Steven French, senior director of sales at Intermatic. “These new zone managers bring strong industry experience and great enthusiasm to our existing team. Their addition enhances our continuing commitment to market growth, exceeding client expectations and unparalleled support levels.”

The new team members will consult customers in a variety of product channels, including electrical, pool and spa, OEM, utility/municipality and HVAC/R, as well as share best practices, resources, and industry updates from Intermatic.

Matt Fowler

Matt Fowler will be responsible for developing customer opportunities across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, and Wyoming. His extensive experience in the lighting field includes three years at RAB Lighting as a district sales manager and 16 years at OSRAM Sylvania as a territory sales manager.

Andy Mellen

Andy Mellen will manage customer accounts throughout New England, New York, and northern New Jersey. Before joining Intermatic, he gained valuable experience in the electrical industry as a manufacturer representative, held various roles in electrical distribution, and served as a regional sales manager at VM5 Lighting Solutions.

Howard Grobstein

Howard Grobstein will oversee customer accounts in Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey. He brings 15 years of industry experience from his past work on the WESCO corporate marketing team, as well as experience in sales roles at Trigger Point Media and ElectricSmarts.

Barrie Pilgrim

Barrie Pilgrim will be responsible for building customer relationships across Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Prior to Intermatic, Barrie held account management and field sales positions at Southwire, which he joined straight out of college.
