FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Kobi Electric, an international commercial and industrial energy efficient lighting manufacturer, has appointed lighting industry veteran Peter Weller as the company’s Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Planning.
Weller, who has been responsible for substantial sales and revenue growth with several energy efficient lighting manufacturers, will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important customers. Additionally, Weller will lend his experience and vision to collaborating with the KOBI management team to define a roadmap for future products as well as provide input on research being conducted to develop new technologies.
Weller has previously held influential positions with competing industry leaders such as Osram Sylvania Inc., H.E. Williams Inc., TCP Inc. and Lumenergi Inc. During his career, his sales strategies and leadership have been responsible for creating new sales channels and product lines that generated long term relationships as well as hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.
