Summit Electric Supply’s C. David Wascom named Titan of IT

The New Mexico Business Weekly has named C. David Wascom, CIO and vice president of IT at Summit Electric Supply, a “Titan of IT.”

The publication awards the title of Titan of IT based on leadership and the ability to bring the needs of the business or client in line with IT, and the degree to which IT was able to make a business or client more efficient.

A panel of experts chose Wascom as one of 20 people recognized in five categories. On April 26, the New Mexico Business Weekly will announce a final winner in each category at its “Titans of IT” event.

Wascom has been with Summit since 2002. He was named CIO and vice president of IT in 2007.

Headquartered in Albuquerque, N.M., Summit is an independent and privately held electrical distributor. The company was founded in 1977 and has locations spread across four states and in Dubai, UAE.
