tED Magazine Earns 11 More ASBPE Awards

For the second year in a row, tED magazine earned 11 regional awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors. tED is also nominated for three national awards, which will be handed out in late July.

The ASBPE “Azbee Awards” describes itself as “one of the most competitive there is for business-to-business, trade, association, and professional publications.  The awards recognize outstanding work by magazines, newsletters, and digital media – websites, e-newsletters, digital magazine, and blogs.”

Eleven regional awards matches the total from 2015, bringing the total number of regional awards for tED magazine to 22 in the last two years.  In 2016, tED magazine was recognized for the entire “Current” news section and our regular column on commodities.

Additionally, tED received an award for our “Special Report” on an emerging trend in the industry.  “The Consequences of Consolidation” in the March 2015 issue of tED magazine examined the ongoing concerns distributors have as manufacturers continue to consolidate.   tED magazine also took home an award for its coverage of NAED’s 2015 Arthur Hooper Award recipient Jack Henderson of Hunzicker Brothers.

tED magazine also won a number of regional magazine design awards, including Front Cover Illustration for the February 2015 issue and Front Cover for a Special Issue or Supplement for the December 2015 New Product Preview.
