tED Magazine Wins National Awards

The American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) recognized tED magazine, the official publication of the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), during their annual awards ceremony on Friday, July 24, 2015, in New York City.

“The exciting part is we are being recognized for our work both in tED magazine and our website tedmag.com,” commented Scott Costa, tED magazine publisher. “The work that Magazine Editor Misty Byers, Production Editor Karen Linehan and Art Director Randi Vincent do every month on tED magazine has always been outstanding, so it’s really fantastic to see them recognized with these national ASBPE awards.”

“Additionally, we re-built tedmag.com about a year ago, and that rebuilding effort, along with the daily work that goes into providing industry news by Online Editor Nicky Herron, has received a very prestigious recognition as one of the 10 best B2B websites in the country.”

This year more than 1,200 entries were submitted in 82 categories. The ASBPE represents 600 journalists for business-to-business or trade publications.

tED magazine won the following gold awards:

  • Overall Headline Writing – January 2014 and February 2014
  • Feature Article Design – for 100 Pieces of Advice (March 2014)

In June, the magazine was recognized at the regional level with 11 awards including gold awards in company profile, news section, magazine design, and website re-design. Click here to see the complete list of regional awards the magazine received.
