The Good Stuff, Vol. 20

The Good Stuff, Vol. 20

tED magazine recently introduced a column that was created to bring you some positive news in today’s world. It’s called “The Good Stuff”, and today we’re highlighting more of the positive news we’ve received from our members. If you have some “Good Stuff” that you would like to share with tED magazine, find out how below.

In this issue, we look at the Electri-Flex Company, which donated 800 Thanksgiving meals to a local community.

Partnering with SCARCE, the DuPage County Sheriff’s SWAP teams, and Meals on Wheels of DuPage County for meal preparation and distribution, Electri-Flex Company, headquartered in Roselle, Illinois, organized 800 meals complete with turkeys, cans of corn and green beans, boxes of stuffing and mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and more. A refrigeration truck was brought in to store the turkeys until distribution to the public, right before the holiday weekend. Sponsors include Electri-Flex Company, the Roselle Police Association Foundation, the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office, Lisle Township, Fates, Bodily & Parker PLLC, Precision Stamping Products, and SCARCE.

The Kinander Family, owners of Electri-Flex, take pride in giving back to the community through charitable events, such as organizing food drives. “It’s impressive to watch community leaders come together to organize these events,” stated Janelle Blazejewski, Marketing Manager at Electri-Flex. “The Kinander Family is very generous with their donations and does a fantastic job orchestrating meal distribution. It is heartwarming to see the impact these donations have on the community.” This event marks the 4th consecutive food drive, successfully delivering meals to families in need.
