Van Meter Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Van Meter Inc. announced that Melanie Fisher Doyle, a seasoned financial executive, has joined the company's leadership team as Chief Financial Officer.

Doyle brings with her more than 20 years of experience in finance, investment management, and the practice of law. Before joining Van Meter, she served in a variety of roles at Aegon Asset Management. Doyle was both a senior officer and an attorney at Aegon Asset Management in the accounting and reporting areas of the real estate operation. Prior to that she was in-house counsel for a national telecommunications firm, and spent several years in private law practice.

“Melanie's impressive background in finance and law, as well as her commitment to helping others, make her a great fit for her new role at Van Meter,” said Van Meter President and CEO, Lura McBride. “We welcome Melanie to our team and look forward to her contributions to our future growth and success.”

Doyle is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She earned her undergraduate degree at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and then went on to the University of Iowa, College of Business and College of Law to complete her Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Juris Doctor (JD) degrees. Doyle's community service record includes volunteering for Alternative Services/Meals on Wheels, JDRF of Eastern Iowa, and the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art.
